I doubt they'll go on cable or satellite radio. They'd have to pay the cable/satellite ridiculous carriage feeds. Satellite would pay them for the content and there's zero market for it. Online broadcasting is absolutely the way of the future (look at Netflix and their rapid growth of original content). I do give them credit for that. They went balls deep in this pretty quick.

Why I hate Tuesdays

all throughout my life tuesdays were my meeting nights.

well tuesdays and thursdays to be more precise, when we had book study but book study was at my house so it wasn't terrible.

anyways as a kid i hated coming home from school, doing homework and then going to the meetings.

I'm not sure what's worse: Sitting through a meeting or sitting through an episode of Sons of Anarchy. Both contain lots of nonsensical words and bad cover tunes.

Craziest demon/magic/supernatural stories you heard when you were a JW

one from the platform, a witch was studying with jw's, and she had a relationship with demons/spirits.

when she was studying they turned on her and threatened her if she didn't stop.

Gee it's quite the coincedence that most of these stories are from the 70's and early 80's before everyone had some sort of video recorder.

Education

be reasonable with regard to how much education to pursue.. as mentioned earlier, education can help prepare your child for responsible adulthood.

(genesis 2:24) but how much schooling does reaching that goal require?.

it's very misleading. Statements like what you quoted above aren't necessarily wrong. There's definitely some college degrees that are worthless and some trades that can pay very very well.

The problem is what they aren't telling you there. That page doesn't mention that a JW can get in trouble for going to college for a bachelors or greater. If you have privileges such as MS/Elder/Pioneer you can have them removed if you or a member of your household goes to college.

Will the WT get a twitter account?

with the recent success of the website which really seem to be working beyond at least my expectations, will the wt get a twitter account in the near(ish) future?.

those who guess right win the bragging rights.

my guess is no since twitter invite to much discussion, however they will eventually jump on a popular twitter-like social media service when one arise that is more easily controlled..

Go Bag

my still-in wife has asked we prepare a "go-bag" with all the stuff we need in case of a natural disaster....we live in a country where there is none!.

but when i asked where this all came from she mentioned hurricanes etc but again we live in an area where they can never be things like this.. thus i suspect this is a society based instruction...can anyone enlighten me?.

are the society advising dubs to be doom preppers???

Interestingly enough, Bethelites were encouraged to have go-bags even BEFORE Katrina. That definitely sparked speculation that 'the end was close' if bethel was preparing for when shit hit the fan.
